2024’s sci fi drama Megalopolis, directed by Francis Ford Coppola is set in a fictional city New Rome, where Adam Driver’s character, architect Caesar Catilina is attempting to bring change to the society with a new material called Megalon while city’s conservative mayor, Franklyn Cicero played by Giancarlo Esposito, is trying to stop him and no change is about to come. The relationship’s of other characters this romanic drama are interlaced and involved with each other, Julia Cicero played by Nathalie Emmanuel, who is the new mayor’s daughter’s romance with Catilina causes friction between their loyalties with The narrative themes of this movie focuses on progress, political powers and the sacrifices one has to make to in their pursuit of idealism.
