Summary
Kalki 2898 AD (2024) is an Indian epic science fiction film set to be released in 2024 which is directed by Nag Ashwin. The film is set in a dystopian future to cinema and in a bygone era to reality. In Bhairava’s case his trajectory appears to cross with a prophecy regarding the rise of kalki, are said to bless dominantly integrate with this myth. Ultimately Bhairava manages to rebel against the brutal authoritative order alongside the civilization that has suffered for ages.
Moreover, this technological dystopia features an underground resistance believed to not only fight the oppression but aim to restore humanity into the face of the earth. Leading this segment of the civil revolution is sumathi, a character played by deepika padukone. Sumathi is the centerpiece of the story in my opinion as they showcase vision of a world free from limitations.
