“Naughty” (Russian: “Непослушная”) is an erotic drama that was directed by Dmitry Suvorov. It’s a Russian movie that has a rich storyline and interesting characters. Synopsis:
Elya Tsvetaeva, a student of ecology, is twenty years old and is somewhat of an environmentalist with strong views on eliminating urban sprawl. She attends a university in which a wealthy construction maven Matvey Rysak is giving a presentation and she notices that he plans to bulldoze an old park next to the university and replace it with a skyscraper. Elya passionately argues against Rysak. He is intrigued by her strong arguments and jumps on the opportunity to propose her a bet. If Rysak can persuade her better than her argument, Elya would have to spend a week with him in Paris. If not, he would leave the construction plans. This is what sets off a week-long battle, both mentally and emotionally for Elya centered around love and true feelings.

Elya and Matvey’s relationship serves as the center plot of the film ‘Naughty’, which revolves around the idea of urban development colliding with environment determinants. Elya stays true to his morals and sticks to being an eco friendly individual, which then affects Matvey as he has to put the mask of a capitalist on. The film questions and goes deep into the elements of power, Thereat and ideological confrontation which does leave many elements to be unresolved.
