“The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim” is a 2024 animated heroic fantasy movie created by Kenji Kamiyama. This film is based about the history of Rohan and revolves around King Helm Hammerhand and the beginnings of Helm’s Deep. It is 183 years set before the action of The Lord of the Rings trilogy by J.R.R. Tolkien.
Plot: The focus of the story revolves around Rohan’s famous king known as Helm Hammerhand and his daughter Héra. When Wulf, a Dunlending lord who seeks revenge for his father’s death, attacks Rohan, Helm & his people seek refuge in the ancient fort of Hornburg (which later became known as Helms Deep). As the story develops Héra emerges out as the key character, as the world conquest has taken the toll on the people and someone’s history needs to be saved.
